During these two years, he was also the Sports Media Officer for the Minister of Sports, Dato’ Seri Azalina Othman. In 2008, he accompanied the Sports Minister to her new posting with the Ministry of Tourism, where he initially was with her office, before being posted as the General Manager of the Shopping Secretariat under Tourism Malaysia till February 2009. Since 2009, he has been the Contributing Editor of Asian Bowling Digest – a bi-monthly magazine – which was published by Surya Vision Communications as of September 2010 till 2013.

He has been the Media and Communications Consultant for the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) since November 2009 to 2015.

Was in New Delhi, from April 2010 to July 2010, as the Director of Press Operations, attached with the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games Organising Committee.

For the Guangzhou Asian Games in November 2010, he was appointed as specialist bowling writer for the Games News Service.

As a sports journalist, he has travelled the globe covering many international sports events and Multi-Sports Games like the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Asian Games in Hiroshima (1994), Bangkok (1998) and Doha (2006), twelve consecutive South East Asian Games – regional multi-sports event – from 1983 to 2005 (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Kuala Lumpur & Vietnam) and three more after that. Covered the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games.

Among the international events include, World Athletics Championships, Stuggart, Germany, Inter-Continental Hockey Tournament in Poznan, Junior World Cup, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1994 Soccer World Cup, Los Angeles, USA, Pre-Olympics and Pre-World Cup Soccer Tournaments in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Nepal and Riyadh, Thomas Cup badminton championships in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, AMF World Cup Tenpin Bowling in Lisbon 2000, Bangkok 2001, Latvia 2002, Honduras 2003, Singapore 2004 and Melaka (Malaysia) 2009, World Ranking Masters Bowling ( Florida, USA, 2003), World Bowling Championships (1999 Abu Dhabi, 2003 Kuala Lumpur), World Bowling Team Cup, Odense, Denmark 2003, Asian Championship in Hong Kong, World Youth Championship in Guam(2004) and Asian Schools Championship (2003 Penang, Malaysia).

Among sports awards won include the Malaysian Press Institute (MPI), Sports Journalist of the Year 2002 and the Gosta Zellen Golden Quill Award 2004 in Singapore at the AMF World Cup Championship by World Bowling Writers.

From 2009, he has been freelancing doing media events before the formation of Surya Vision Communications Sdn. Bhd. in March 2010.
